Monthly Letters May 2007

To All Active and Active- Life Members;                        

            Once again we will start the busy month of May with our monthly meetings. The Company monthly meeting is Tuesday May 1^st at 19:30 hours and the Commissioners meeting is Wednesday May  2^nd at 19:30 hours. 

            The Captain has three drills scheduled for this month. The first drill will be on Tuesday  May 8^th at 18:45 hrs and the topic is communications.  The second drill is on Tuesday the 15^th at 18:45 at Texaco. The third drill is on the 22^nd at 18:45 also at Texaco. 

            There will be several work details throughout the month of May.  We are preparing for our first parade of the season which will be in Pleasant Valley on June 9^th.  The work details will be on the 10^th, 17^th, 23^rd, 24^th, 29^th, 30^th and 31^st.  All work details will start at 19:00 hours.  All help is needed to get our apparatus in shape for the upcoming parade season.  Members are urged to participate in the work details and show the pride we have in our company when we step off in Pleasant Valley on June 9, at 18:00 hours. 

           All active members are reminded to read the new Medical Policy in place for 2007.  All active members are also reminded that firefighter checks have been scheduled for the remainder of the year.  Firefighters should check for their scheduled dates to participate in these important functions.   

           Any firefighter participating in any drill MUST always bring all of your gear to actively participate and receive credit for the drill.
