Butternut Squash, Turnip and Green Bean Quinoa. This recipe requires you to use the following ingredients: quinoa, salt, water, garlic clove, turnip, green beans, scallions and butternut squash. Rinse quinoa and then boil it in a saucepan along with salt and water. Simmer it while covered for about five to ten minutes. After that, the grain should be drained using a sieve. Allow it to cool by spreading it out on a plate. You can then start peeling the turnip. Cut it into cubes. Mince the garlic, slice scallions thinly and cut the beans into pieces. Once done, you can start setting over an inch of boiling water in a steamer. Combine the turnip, garlic and squash in it and steam these for about seven minutes. The beans, salt, pepper and quinoa are then added into the steamer. Steam the mixture for another three minutes and then transfer it in a bowl. Toss the mixture with scallions before serving.
